Why we made this guide

Most of what’s written about menopause falls into one of two camps: clinical information that reads like a medical leaflet, or lifestyle content that treats hot flushes as an inconvenience you can yoga your way through. Neither is particularly useful if you’re the woman who just wants to understand what’s actually happening in her body — and what she can do about it.

We built this guide because the women we write for deserve a complete, honest picture. Not a checklist of symptoms. Not reassurance that everything is fine.
